Integrity Applications Incorporated’s (IAI) Carlsbad California office is one of the San Diego Business Journal’s 50 Best Places to Work in San Diego. IAI was recognized at an awards ceremony held on Wednesday, May 20, at the Doubletree Hotel in San Diego, California. Awards were given in small, medium and large size company categories based on the presence of the participating company in the San Diego market. The San Diego Business Journal ranked IAI as the Number One Best Place to Work in San Diego for 2009 in the small company category. Out of all the companies that participated in the San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work Awards, only 50 companies qualified for consideration. Companies on the list excel at fostering a positive work environment, along with attracting and retaining employees by promoting a unique corporate culture. To determine the best places to work, participating employers are required to detail company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. The employees are then surveyed to measure workplace satisfaction. Employees anonymously give feedback on topics ranging from leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits, and overall satisfaction. 2009 was the first year that the San Diego Business Journal has considered IAI for recognition as a top San Diego area employer. IAI was recognized nationally in 2007 and 2008 as one of the Best Small and Medium Companies to Work For in America by San Francisco’s Great Place to Work Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management.
